The Zone
The Zone is my first novel. It's a light read, combining your classic love story with a good bit of humour, written purely for the enjoyment of the reader.
The story
Roisin, an English neurologist, works in a Dublin hospital. From time to time she gets into trouble with her boss for being insubordinate, but that's about the most exciting thing that happens to her. Her life changes significantly when one day rock star Nathan Renfrew, or Shades, from the world famous band The Zone, is brought under her care. After an unfortunate accident he has lost every inkling of his former life: who he is, what he does for a living and why every other person in the world is foaming over him. The band wants their old guitarist back; his wife wants her husband back and the world wants their hero back. Shades is just about ready to crack and Roisin is the only one keeping him together.
